This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for www.mainstaycompany.com, mainstayadvisor.com and any urls that redirect to the IP addresses of these sites. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by these websites. It will notify you of the following:

Mainstay collects personal data from its data subject’s through their use of the Mainstay’s websites. Additionally, personal data may be collected from comments and questions from visitors to Mainstay websites. Mainstay will only use such personal data where it is necessary to do so because it is relevant to Mainstay’s dealings with a user of the site or where it has their consent.

Mainstay does not require personal data from an individual to obtain access to the general public areas of its website but such data may be required for an individual to use Mainstay web applications built on the Advisor™ platform, request or download product information, communicate with Mainstay via contact forms or take advantage of other features on the Mainstay website.

Mainstay will not collect sensitive personal data about a user of the Mainstay website without their express consent.

Mainstay will use a data subject’s personal data where it is necessary to do so for such purposes as verifying the identity of visitors to the Mainstay website, creating user credentials such as user names and passwords, processing and responding to requests, improving its operations, maintaining details of its business contacts, facilitating business transactions, monitoring market performance and developing new business.

Mainstay will only use personal data in a way that is appropriate, taking into account a data subject’s consent, the extent to which it is necessary for Mainstay to use personal data in its dealings with a data subject and the purposes which are disclosed to a data subject in this Privacy Policy or which are relevant to the reason for a data subject giving personal data to Mainstay.

Direct Marketing

With a data subject’s consent, Mainstay may use personal data for direct marketing, including sending them details of offers of both Mainstay and third party products and services.

Mainstay will only provide such material via the chosen media. Use of “cookies”
